The settings that actually change an audit

Five toggles. Ignore the other forty until the review is done.

Jules and Mira agree on almost nothing except this list. If you are judging a game, set these and stop fiddling. Motion clarity, field of view, subtitle size, a brightness that matches your room, and whatever control the game calls 'camera assist'.

HDR stays off unless you have already audited the display. A score filed on a blown-out panel is a score about the panel. Say which display you used. The hardware page exists so you can.

  1. 1Lock frame cap or adaptive sync, not both by accident.
  2. 2Set subtitles large enough to read in a scare.
  3. 3Match brightness to the room you actually play in.
  4. 4Turn camera assists off only after you know what they were doing.
  5. 5Write the display name in the filing.
