Stop averaging taste

A 9 and a 6 are more honest side by side than a 7.5 with no name on it.

The industry got very good at a single number and very bad at telling you whose week it was. A 7.5 can mean 'everyone liked it' or 'half the room was thrilled and half walked out'. Those are different games. They should not wear the same badge.

On this desk the badge is the pair: who, and how long. When Salt & Static sits at 6.8 from Theo, that is not the final truth of the horror. It is a filed opinion with a radio scare attached. If your night with it was the one the score missed, the thread under the review is the rest of the audit.

Bring the other number. Sign it. That is the whole method, minus the snacks.
