Hollow Meridian

A pilgrimage that lets you get lost on purpose

Mira Chen · Sep 18, 2026 · Editor, scores

Essential if you want a world that argues back.

Hollow Meridian opens by taking your map and handing you a bell. Ring it and the valley answers with a direction that is almost never the shortest. The desk played it straight through a weekend and still went back for the side valleys. That return trip is the metric that clears a Wednesday meeting.

Combat is a conversation with distance. You are not a blender. The good fights are the ones you hear before you see, and the game is confident enough to leave a quiet road between them. That confidence is why the score cleared 9 with only one dissent.

The dissent was the last chapter, which restates a climb the middle already taught. It does not sink the pilgrimage. It keeps the game honest: this is not a flawless cathedral. It is a place worth auditing with your own hours, then arguing about in the thread.
