Salt & Static
Horror that startles, then stalls

Brilliant first hour, thin night after that.
Theo wanted to love Salt & Static. The opening broadcast — a coastal town, a radio that answers in your own voice — is the best scare on the desk this month. Then the game settles into lockers, generators, and a monster that stops being a presence and becomes a schedule.
A 6.8 is not a dunk. It is a troubled recommendation: play it with a friend on the stream, stop when the radio goes quiet for good, and do not grind the lore documents hoping they will save the structure. The thread is open if you think the score is cruel.
